Black Bears register three individual victories at Army

Orono, Maine -- Ashley Martinez (high jump), Tegan Morrison (800m), and Emma White (triple jump) each registered individual victories as the Black Bears competed at the West Point Tune-Up at Army on Saturday afternoon.
Martinez posted the fifth-best mark on Maine's top-10 list with a winning leap of 1.71m in the high jump. Morrison captured first place in the 800m with a final time of 2:17.86 while White came home with the gold in the triple jump with a mark of 11.35m.
Yasmen Farag was the runner-up in the pole vault, clearing 3.76m to take second place honors. Alexa Brennan took the bronze in the mile, crossing the line at 5:20.84.
Oliviah Damboise placed third in the triple jump at 10.78m and added a ninth place mark in the pole vault at 2.86m.
Katherine Cowan captured a pair of fourth place showings with a fourth place finish in the 60m hurdles at 9.33 and adding a fourth in the high jump at 1.63m. Grace Minkin also placed fourth in two events, with a mark of 4.92m in the long jump and a leap of 10.78m in the triple jump.
Marlee Yoder (10:39.27) and Lydia Gilmore (10:44.68) placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 3000m.
Paige Boudreau was Maine's top finisher in the shot put, placing fifth at 11.76m. Boudreau was followed closely by Claudia Damboise who came home sixth at 11.59m.
Mackenzie Wilson posted a fifth place mark in the weight throw at 16.89m while Erica Magnuson placed ninth in the event at 15.39m.
