Orono, Maine - The Hockey East Association announced on Tuesday morning that University of Maine forward, Lilli Welcke, was named the Conferences Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month following her performance in the month of November.

Lilli Welcke, a first-year student from Heidleberg, Germany is tied for second for Maine in points this season with 13 on four goals and nine assists. She also leads Hockey East freshmen in points. 

Welcke had a strong showing in the month of November earning herself six points on one goal and five assists. In Maine's Nov. 11-12 victories over Holy Cross, Lilli Welcke had an impressive weekend earning four total assists, gathering two each game. On Nov. 19 Maine faced off against Providence College where Lilli scored the lone goal for the Black Bears. Lastly, Welcke got another assist in Maine's Nov. 26 victory over Clarkson.
