Women’s Ice Hockey Falls to #13 Vermont

Orono, Maine - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team falls in Hockey East battle against the #13 Vermont Catamounts.
First Goal (1-0 Maine): Maine would get the first goal 38 seconds into the contest. Elise Morphy would skate around a Catamount defender to shoot the puck in for the score. Ida Kuoppala would get an assist pass to Grace Heiting who then with a no-look pass would pass the puck to Morphy, also picking up an assist.
Second Goal (1-1 Vermont): Vermont would answer in the first period with a score from Evelyne Blais-Savoie. Lara Beecher and Hailey Burns would each pick up an assist.
Third Goal (1-2 Vermont): The Catamounts would get their second goal also in the first period from Theresa Schafzahl and assisted by Corinne McCool.
Fourth Goal (1-3 Vermont): Vermont's third goal was also scored in the first period from Natalie Mlynkova and assisted by Corinne McCool and Krista Parkkonen.
Fifth Goal (1-4 Vermont): Natalie Mlynkova would score again for the Catamounts giving them their fourth goal. Tynka Pátková would pick up the assist.
Sixth Goal (1-5 Vermont): Vermont would get their fifth goal of the game by Hailey Burns and assisted by Evelyna Blais-Savoie.
Seventh Goal (1-6 Vermont): The Catamounts would get their last goal of the game scored by Natalie Mlynkova, her third of the contest. Tynka Pátková would pick up the assist.
