Bronx, New York - The University of Maine men's and women's cross country teams complete their season at the 2022 NCAA Regional Championship.
For the Maine men they were led by Alec Troxell who placed 32 over all in the 10K race with a time of 30:22.8. Evan Thornton Sherman was the next highest ranking Black Bear, finishing in 77 overall with a time of 31:15.9.
Lydia Gilmore was the top performer for the Maine women finishing in 135 overall in the women's 6K race with a time of 22:54.5. Jaymie Sidaway finished in 173 for the Black Bears with a time of 23:31.7.
The men's team combined for a total of 567 points and finished 18th overall. The women placed 32 with a score of 918.
For the women's race, Providence won first overall with a score of 71. On the men's side Syracuse won first overall with a final score of 65.
