Orono, Maine – On March 23, the University of Maine athletics department honored 370 student-athletes for their success in the classroom at the 32
nd annual Scholar-Athlete Recognition Ceremony, held virtually.
Â
The 370 honorees represent the highest number of scholar-athlete individual recognitions in the 32-year history of the scholar-athlete ceremony.
Â
This year, the University of Maine recognized 263 scholar-athletes, presented to student-athletes who earned a 3.0 or better grade point average in the previous spring and fall semesters, and/or have maintained a 3.0 or better accumulative grade point average.
