WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Hockey East announced Monday that University of Maine freshman forward Rahel Enzler has been named the league's Rookie of the Week and sophomore forward Ida Kuoppala has been named Hockey East Player of the Week after their weekend sweep at Merrimack.
 
Enzler tallied two goals and two assists during the Black Bears sweep of the Warriors. The freshman tallied one goal and two assists on Sunday afternoon in North Andover.

Kuoppala finished the weekend with three goals and two assists. The forward scored the game winning goal Friday night, while scoring two goals and dishing out two assists during Maine's 6-1 series finale victory.

Both awards are the first for the top liners.
 
The Hockey East is set to announce the schedule on Tuesday, February 16th.
