Preview: Cross Country Competes at the New England Championships

ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine men's and women's cross country teams will be competing at the New England Championships on Saturday, Oct. 9.
For the men, they are being led by reigning America East Male Performer of the Week, Sam Mills. Mills led all conference participants with a 34th place finish and a time of 25:03. Alec Troxell and Luke Marsanskis are other Black Bear Males who had strong seasons leading into the meet.
For the women, they are led by Sophomore Lydia Gilmore. The Bangor, Maine native has been having a good season to this point, finishing the top on her team in every meet coming into the weekend.
The meet is scheduled to begin from Franklin Park, Mass. at 11:00 A.M. on Oct. 9.
