Women's Swim & Dive Place Fifth at America East Championships

WORCESTER, Mass. -- The University of Maine women's swimming & diving team placed fifth with 396 points at the 2020 America East Swimming & Diving Championships.
The fourth and final day of competition was headlined by Emma Blair who placed third in the 100-yard freestyle with a final time of 51.82.
Caroline Strolic and Ines Khiyara took home fourth and fifth place finishes, respectively, in the 200-yard breaststroke with Strolic touching the wall at 2:19.74 followed close behind by Khiyara at 2:20.52.
Valentina Rengifo rounded out Maine's top finishers in the finals with a sixth place showing in the 200-yard butterfly at 2:05.42.
