Khiyara Sets New 200 IM School-Record on Day One at ECAC Championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Ines Khiyara set a new school-record mark in the 200 IM to lead the Black Bears on day one at the ECAC Championships, hosted at the Naval Academy. The Black Bears stand in 10th place with 40 points after one day of competition.
Khiyara's record-setting time of 2:05.28 was good for a fifth place showing in the 200 IM finals on day one. Khiyara also teamed up with Sarah Mansfield, Jennifer Prior and Maggie White to take home sixth place in the 200 yard freestyle relay at 1:37.87.
The Black Bears return to the pool for day two of the ECAC Championships on Saturday with prelims kicking off at 10 a.m.
