Maine fifth after three days at America East Championships
WORCESTER, Mass. -- Maine's 400-yard medley relay team highlighted day three of competition at the America East Championships by setting a new school-record in the event. After three days of competition, Maine sits fifth with 289 points.
Caroline Strolic, Kayla Loughman, Emma Blair and Ines Khiyara teamed up to set the new school mark in the 400-medley with a record time of 3:49.75, good for third place at the Championship meet.
Individually, Sabrina Nuttall (1:05.04) and Loughman (1:05.39) took sixth and seventh, respectively, in the 100-yard breaststroke event.
Khiyara rounded out Maine's leaders in the final round by placing eighth in the 4:37.66.
