WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Hockey East announced Monday that University of Maine senior forward
Tim Doherty has been named the league's Co-Player of the Week after he recorded two goals and two assists during a tie and a victory against Nebraska Omaha.
The Portsmouth, Rhode Island, native tallied two goals in Maine's 2-2 tie Friday night with the Mavericks and two assists in the Saturday afternoon's 3-2 victory. This is Doherty's first conference award of the 2019-20 season.
The Black Bears will host the USA Under-18 Development team next. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 pm Saturday, January 11th.
