WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Hockey East announced Monday that University of Maine junior goaltender
Loryn Porter has been named the league's Co-Defensive Player of the Week after being the winning goaltender against the #4 Northeastern Huskies.
The North Bay, Ontario native tallied 50 saves in Maine's 3-2 overtime victory against the Huskies of Northeastern. This is Porter's first conference award of the 2019-20 season.
The Black Bears will travel to Hanover, New Hampshire as they take on Dartmouth College on Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Friday and 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
