ORONO, Maine – The men's and women's cross country teams completed their seasons with the America East Championships.

On the women's side, the Black Bears placed 8
th as a team. They ran a total time of 1:37:12.11, with some top 50 finishers. Among the top performers, freshman
Mackenzie Young paced Maine, finishing in 45
th place as the top performer, with junior
Emma Jourdain finishing two places behind her in 47
th. Both ran a sub 19 minute 5K. The women also had six girls finish in places 61-87.

On the men's side, the Black Bears finished 6
th as a team, running a total time of 2:07:25 in the 8K. The top performer for the men was junior
Ethan Orach, who placed 36
th in the meet. The Black Bears also got top 50 runs from freshman
Luke Marsanskis (42
nd),
Alec Troxell (45
th),
Jacob Terry (47
th) and Samuel Mills (50
th). They all ran a sub 26 minute in the 8K. Maine had three men finish in places 54-83.
