ORONO, Maine – With the government shutdown affecting many across the nation, the University of Maine Athletics Department is offering free admission to furloughed federal employees and their families for two upcoming UMaine men's basketball games.
 
Free admission is available for government employees and their families for the Wednesday, Jan. 16 men's basketball game against Hartford and the Saturday Jan.19 contest against Stony Brook at 1:00 p.m.

To claim tickets the day of the games, visit the will call table at the main entrance of the Cross Insurance Center and present valid government identification to receive admission.
