ORONO, Maine – University of Maine Athletics and its multimedia rights partner, Black Bear Sports Properties, announced on Friday seven dates for the 2018-19 hockey local television schedule. These select games will air live on WVII/WFVX (Bangor), WPME (Portland), WVII Presque Isle and FOX College Sports.
 
The first broadcast of the year will take place on Nov. 3, when Maine hosts Hockey East foe UMass Lowell at the Alfond Arena at 7:30 p.m.
 
"We're proud to be the home of the Black Bears on TV and we're looking forward to an exciting hockey season" said WVII/WFVX General Manager, Mike Palmer.
 
In addition to a tilt against Colorado College of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) on Jan. 2, the local television dates includes five more Hockey East matchups against Quinnipiac (Nov. 24), Northeastern (Jan. 11), UMass (Jan. 25), Boston College (Feb. 23), and Boston University (Mar. 9).
