
Celine Tedenby Joins Sweden at Four Nations Tournament

ORONO, Maine-- First year women's ice hockey player Celine Tedenby will play for Team Sweden for the Four Nations Cup.
Tedenby, an Ornskoldsvik, Sweden native, will make her fourth appearance for the national team. She dressed for the Tre Kronor as a member of the Under 18 team in 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2016-17.
The Four Nations Cup runs from Nov. 6-10 and is held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Sweden will compete against the United States, Canada and Finland.
Team Sweden's first game of the tournament is Nov. 6 against Canada with puck drop at 8 p.m. The gold medal game will be on Nov. 10 at 9 p.m.
The rest of the Black Bears will hit the ice on Friday, Nov. 9 at Providence with puck drop at 7 p.m. before heading to UConn for a 2 p.m. tilt in Storrs.
