Aaron Willingham finished in third-place with a team-best time of 25:24.3 in the first dual meet of the 2017 season, but the University of Maine men's cross country team fell to Army West Point 18-43 on Friday afternoon.

Josh Horne also placed in the top-10 on the day, as Terry finished with a time of 25:53.5 for eighth place, while Horne finished directly after with a time of 25:54.9
Simon Powida ran a time of 26:14.2 for 11
th place in the five-mile course, and teammate

th place with a time of 26:16.7. Freshman John Hasset placed 14
th with a time of 26:24.3 in his first collegiate meet, while senior
Logan Moses kicked off his final season as a Black Bear with a time of 26:35.6
Colin Tardiff finished the Orono course with a time of 26:41.5, while Zachary Lepage crossed the finish line with a time of 28:29.2
The Black Bears return to action on Saturday, Sept. 9 when the team travels to UMass to compete in the Minuteman Invitational. The men's race is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. in Amherst, Mass.
