Jesse Orach began his senior season with a bang as he took home first place in Maine's cross country season opener against Army on Friday afternoon. The Black Bears fell to Army overall in the meet, 20-37.
Orach paced the field, crossing the line first with a final time of 25:36.30. Army took second through sixth with Maine's
Aaron Willingham finished seventh at 26:01.06.
Jacob Johns placed eighth at 26:06.56 while
Levi Frye rounded out Maine's top-10 finishers with a ninth place showing in 26:09.08.
The Black Bears return to action on Saturday, Sept. 11 when they travel to take on UMass at 11 a.m.
