Men's Indoor Track and Field Compete in Day One of NEICAAA Indoor Track and Field Championships

BOSTON, Mass -- The University of Maine Men's indoor track and field team competed in Day One of the NEICAAA indoor track and field championships at the BU track and tennis center.
The men's team is currently in 13th place with a total of six points.
Jake Leithiser placed eighth in the 400 meters with a time of 48.90 and qualifies for tomorrow's finals.
Jesse Orach finished third in the 5000 meters with a time of 14:47.07.
Garrett Johnson and Joseph Slattery have two more events remaining in the heptathlon that will be completed tomorrow.
The Black Bears continue tomorrow in day two of the NEICAAA indoor track and field chamionships.
