Women's Swimming and Diving Remains 4th After Day 2

WORCESTER, Massachusetts - After 2 days of championship meets, the Black Bears remain in 4th place in points at the America East Championship.
In the first event of the day, 500 Yard Freestyle, 4 Black Bears competed in the event but finished in the bottom half; Alison Brodt finished 9th with a final time of 5:02.12, Chloe Adams finished with a final time of 5:03.49, Shayla Rose Kleisinger finished 15th with a final time of 5:05.60 and Taylor Sharp finished 16th with a final time of 5:05.76, for a combined 18 points towards Maine's total.
The days second event was the 200 Yard IM and saw two Black Bear competitors, Megan McGillivary, who finished 13th with a time of 2:10.11, and Emma Blackdeer who finished 16th with a time of 2:13.09, for a combined 5 points for Maine's total.
The third event of the day, the 50 Yard Freestyle, saw 3 Maine swimmers take action; Emily Borger finished 4th with a final time of 23.76, Julianna McDonald finished 10th with a time of 24.01, and Tessa Lindsley finished 13th with a final time of 24.44. They combined for a total of 26 points.
The day's final event was the 200 Yard Freestyle relay, where Maine's relay team finished 4th place, with a final time of 1:35.36 for 30 points. The team consisted of Emily Borger, Juliana McDonald, Tessa Lindsley, and Chloe Adams.
The final scores after 2 days of meets are as follows:
1. UNH - 299 points
2. UMBC - 282 points
3. Vermont - 240 points
4. Maine - 165 points
5. Binghamton - 116
