Brad Smith Named Assistant Swimming & Diving Coach

ORONO, Maine – Brad Smith will continue
to work with the Maine swimming & diving program after being
named assistant coach by head swimming & diving coach Susan
Lizzotte. Smith served as the interim assistant coach under
Lizzotte last season and helped the Black Bears to a number of
record-setting finishes at the America East
Championships.
Smith joined the program after serving as the assistant aquatics
director at the Greater Burlington YMCA and as the director of team
operations at the University of Vermont. He also served as the head
swim coach at the Burlington Country Club. Smith finished up a
successful swimming career at Vermont in 2007.
