Simon French begin his time on staff at UMaine as a temporary staffer in 2019 before being elevated to a full-time role in 2021.
As a temporary staffer, French served as a technical director for all of UMaine's broadcasts. In 2021, French was hired into a full-time role as a Digitral Media Assistant for Broadcast Operations. He began his current role as the Director of Creative Content - Videography in 2022.
Prior to his time at UMaine, French worked at Husson University as a media assistant from 2018-20. He has served as the house photographer for Maine Savings Amphitheater since 2018.
French graduated from NESCOM at Husson University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications Technology - Video with a certificate in small business management.
