Sean Green joins the Black Bears for his first season in 2026 where he will serve as their running backs coach.
Prior to coming to Maine, he served as both the Quarterbacks Coach for the University of New England and as the Head Football Coach for Portland High School. While at UNE, along with coaching the quarterbacks, he served in the coaching booth with direct involvement in offensive play-calling and in-game adjustments. He also assisted in holistic offensive strategy, practice scripting and opponent breakdown/film.
At Portland High School he led the team to two State Championship appearances and one title, along with a 22-3 record. He also won a State Championship while coaching at Cape Elizabeth.
