Jacob Ouellette joined the University of Maine Athletic Communications staff in August 2024 as an intern while a student at Husson University in local Bangor. After graduating from Husson University in May of 2026 with a degree in Sports Journalism, he has continued working as a Communications Assistant working primarily with Women's Ice Hockey and Track and Field.
As a student at Husson University, he worked as a lead play by play broadcaster for the Eagles along with making contributions as a color commentator, sideline analyst, a radio play by play broadcaster and a sports radio show host in his three years with the Eagles.
Prior to his time at Husson, he attended Wells College in Aurora, New York where he was a member of the Wells College Express baseball program as a pitcher. Ouellette also spent time as a student worker in the athletics department.
Ouellette is a native of Lansing, New York.
