Jacob Ouellette joined the University of Maine Athletic Communications staff in August 2024 as an intern. Ouellette has bounced around the department helping with game day operations, social media, web page writing and has stepped in as a broadcaster having called Field Hockey and Softball at Maine. Ouellette is currently a senior at nearby Husson University in the Sports Journalism program. Ouellette is one of the lead Play by Play broadcasters in the Husson University Sports Information department. Before transferring to the state of Maine, Ouellette played college baseball at Wells College in Aurora, New York close to his hometown of Lansing from 2021-2022. Ouellette also spent time inside the Wells College sports information department as a student worker.
