The Black Bears have led Hockey East in sellouts for THREE consecutive years and thanks to this dedicated fan support, season tickets for the men’s hockey program have been sold out since the 2024-25 season.
The waitlist was created to provide an organized and fair process for fans to have access to men's hockey season tickets when they become available while receiving other benefits for joining the waitlist.
By joining the waitlist with an annual $50 commitment, you will have the earliest opportunity to secure season tickets once they become available.

Yes, there is an annual commitment of $50 for waitlist members.
The waitlist opens in June of htis year and will remain open until the beginning of the renewal process for the 2027-28 season.
No. Season tickets must be purchased in full. The waitlist commitment is not a season ticket deposit.
If season tickets are sold out, you will remain on the waitlist in your current position for the following season. You will still need to pay your annual $50 commitment before the June 30 deadline the following year in order to be considered for waitlist calls that upcoming summer.
Thanks to the dedicated fan support, season tickets for the men’s hockey program have been sold out since the 2024-25 season. The waitlist was created to provide an organized and fair process for fans to have access to men’s hockey season tickets when they become available and receive other waitlist amenities for joining the waitlist.
By joining the waitlist and paying the annual $50 commitment, you will have the earliest opportunity to secure season tickets once they become available. However, by joining the waitlist you are not guaranteed tickets for the upcoming season. Ticket availability will be determined after the current season ticket member renewal deadline passes each offseason. Waitlist members will be the first group contacted to acquire new season tickets following this process.
After joining the waitlist, we will send communications throughout the year to provide information on the waitlist and renewal updates for the annual fee to maintain your spot on the waitlist. Following the completion of the renewal process, we will contact waitlist members with the opportunity to purchase full season seats, if available.
Although actual time may vary, we do project a multi-year wait if you are joining the waitlist for the first time.
Current season ticket holders have the opportunity to request a seat relocation prior to any members being accommodated from the waitlist. We recommend taking what is available and working to improve your position in the subsequent years as we expect inventory to be very limited.
Email will be the primary form of communication for the waitlist information and updates. The Black Bear Ticket Office will make every effort to ensure email notifications are received in a timely manner but we cannot guarantee email delivery related to spam, filters or other firewalls.
Those on the list are responsible for maintaining a valid email address that is able to receive Maine men’s hockey waitlist emails and are encouraged to notify our office if they feel communication is not being properly received by emailing um.tickets@maine.edu.
It is the sole responsibility of those on the list to promptly notify the Black Bear Ticket Office if their email or telephone number changes.

You can remove your name from the waitlist at any time. Refunds will not be offered if you have already paid the yearly commitment.
Your name will remain on the waitlist in your current position. In order to maintain your position on the waitlist for the 2025-26 season, you will need to pay the annual $50 commitment before the deadline on June 30, 2025.
