Summer Prospect Overnight Clinic
Grades 6-12

About Camp
Come work with our coaches and players and experience campus life at the University of Maine. You will also have the opportunity to work with the coaches from a number of Maine colleges and universities.

This is a three day overnight prospect level camp. Athletes can either choose to commute and arrive at 9:00 each day or stay in dorms. This camp is for those entering 6th-12th grade and the campers will be divided into a middle school and high school division.

This is not an entry level skill camp. Athletes should be prepared to play a lot of softball over the three day camp. 

The camp is designed to help improve and showcase your offensive and defensive skills and also teach high level skills that are necessary to be successful at the college level. There will be position specific defensive work, hitting mechanic instruction and live play opportunities on all three days. Athletes will also receive an evaluation at the end of camp with both metrics and recommendations.

9:00 AM-11:00 AM - Hitting Stations 
11:00-1:00 - Lunch Break 
1:00 PM-3:00 PM - Defensive Stations 
3:00 PM-4:00 PM - Campus Tour 
4:00 PM-5:00 PM - Game Slot 1 
5:15 PM-6:15 PM - Game Slot 2 
6:30 PM-7:30 PM - Game Slot 3
(Two groups for dinner - one at 5:15 and one at 6:30)

July 7
8:00 AM - Breakfast 
9:00 AM-11:00 AM - Hitting Stations 
11:00-1:00 - Lunch Break 
1:00 PM- 3:00 PM - Defensive Stations
3:00 PM- 4:00 PM - Metrics 
4:00 PM- 5:00 PM - Game Slot 1
