Photo submission tips & guidelines:
1. No commercial advertising, including company names, apparel brands, hashtags, social media handles, phone numbers, logos, slogans, or other branding.
2. Please use University of Maine branded attire. No third-party branding, including branding on apparel and in photo backgrounds. No attire or branding of other NCAA or professional sports teams.
3. No offensive or negative comments.
4. No personal identification such as names, email addresses, license plates, phone numbers, or street addresses.
5. No names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person without permission.
6. No political statements, logos, slogans, or other political content.
7. No alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, or firearms/weapons.
8. No lewd, inappropriate, or offensive photos.
9. One person per photo, no 'selfies'.
10. Include space around your head and shoulders so that your arms/body are not chopped off.
11. Photos should be taken vertically (portrait orientation).
12. Props such as foam fingers or flags will get cut off if they extend beyond the width/height of your shoulders.
13. For best results, choose a solid, one-color background.
14. Avoid backlighting. When you stand with your back to the window or sun, you will make your face dark.
15. Do not show personal information behind you. We cannot guarantee that all backgrounds will be removed.
University of Maine reserves the right to reject any photo that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates these guidelines or is otherwise offensive, lewd, derogatory, infringing, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate including sizing of the image. University of Maine will not be obligated to provide the purchaser a refund if a submitted photo is rejected for any reason. All cutouts may be removed at the discretion of the team if fans are allowed to return to the games in person or for any reason they deem necessary. All sales are final – no refunds.

How long after I order my Cutout will it be installed?
UMaine athletics will work to have your cutout installed within 3-4 business days after your order is placed.
Will I be able to select my seat location?
No, specific seat locations cannot be guaranteed.
If I order multiple Cutouts, will they be seated together?
While it is not guaranteed, UMaine staff will do their best to ensure that multiple Cutouts purchased on the same order will be seated together.
Will I know where my Cutouts(s) is sitting?
Once the Cutouts are placed in the seats, UMaine staff will take photos of each section and will post these photos on all social media platforms. We will notify you once these photos are available.
Can there be multiple people within one image on a Cutout?
No, only one fan per cutout.
Can I submit a pic of my pet for my cutout?
Yes, we love pets!
What can I wear in my uploaded pic for the cutout?
We recommend fans use any photo with UMaine branded attire. Apparel that is not allowed includes: other NCAA teams, lewd, inappropriate, or offensive photos, alcohol, illegal drugs or firearms/weapons, political statements or slogans.
Will my FanCutout remain in the stadium/arena for the entire 2020-21 season?
Yes! All Cutouts will be in The Pit for the length of the season.
Will I get my Cutout back at the end of the 2020-21 season?
Fans will have the option to pick up their Cutouts at the conclusions of the season. Further details will be released at a later date.
Are Cutouts refundable should I change my mind or the season be cut short?
No, all sales of UMaine fan cutouts are final.
How will I know if my photo is approved?
UMaine staff will contact you directly if you photo is NOT approved.
