ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine men's ice hockey team will be holding a Teddy Bear Toss during the first intermission of the Saturday Dec. 13 game against Lindenwood, presented by Cianbro

For the second consecutive year, fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears and other stuffed toys to the game to be thrown on the ice during the first intermission. The stuffed animals will all be donated as presents to local organizations.
 
All stuffed animals must be new. The Maineiaks will be selling stuffed toys at Alfond Arena during the game, with proceeds going to the Maineiaks.
 
Puck drop between the Black Bears and Lions on Saturday, Dec. 13 is set for 6:30 p.m. at Alfond Arena.
