ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine men's swim team began its season strong as it took first place in all individual and relay events on day one of its season opening meet against New Brunswick.
Maine's team of Julian Lapietra,
Joey Stauss,
Matthew Bendoraitis, and
Jesse Lower took first in the 200-yard freestyle relay at 1:25.99 while
Jackson White,
Nate Teerlinck,
Calvin Comeau, and
Noah Machristie teamed up to take the top spot at 3:34.62 in the 400-yard medley relay.
Stauss and Lapietra joined Mia Poirier and Macy Organ to take first in the 400-yard freestyle mixed relay at 3:24.66.
