ORONO, Maine – The #9 University of Maine men's hockey team will make the trek to Vermont this weekend for two Hockey East contests with Vermont.

The Black Bears and Catamounts will face off at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1 and at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 at Gutterson Fieldhouse.

Both games will air on ESPN+ with an international stream available via Hockey East/Stretch Internet. The games can also be listened to via 95.7 FM in eastern Maine, 100.5 FM in southern Maine or online at GoBlackBears.com/MIHRadio.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
• The University of Maine and Vermont will meet for two games at Gutterson Fieldhouse this weekend, facing off on Friday and Saturday.
• This will be the first meeting between the two teams since the Catamounts ended Maine's 2022-23 season with a 4-2 win Hockey East Tournament quarterfinal last year at Alfond Arena.
• This past weekend, Maine split a home series with Northeastern, earning a 5-1 win on Friday night before falling, 4-0, on Saturday ... meanwhile, Vermont dropped two contests at #1 Boston College, 7-1 and 4-2.
