WATERVILLE, Maine -- The University of Maine men's swimming & diving team won the Maine State Meet, hosted by Colby College, with a final score of 811.5.
Cam Watelet led Maine on day two, winning both the 100 butterfly (49.76) and the 100 back (50.62) while taking third in the 100 IM (51.06).
Finn Devers placed second in the 400 IM (4:07.73) and fourth in the 100 free (46.07) while
Joey Stauss was the runner-up in the 100 fly (50.18).
Julian LaPietra won the 100 freestyle at 45.34Â while
Nate Teerlinck placed third in the 100 breaststroke (57.24).
Matthew Bendoraitis took bronze in the 200 back at 1:52.10.
On the diving boards,
DJ Mulligan won the 3-meter event with a score of 270.85 while
Jeremiah Small was the runner-up in both the 1-meter (255.65) and 3-meter (259.20).
Maine's 200-yard medley relay team of Watelet Teerlinck, Stauss, and LaPietra took second at 1:30.26.
Devers, Watelet, Stauss, and LaPietra teamed up to win the 400-yard free relay with a time of 3:01.55.
