ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine's track and field teams are set to host the Black Bear Invitational Meet in Orono on Dec 13-14. Meet times are set for 4:00 pm on Friday, and 10:30 am on Saturday.

Maine kicked off their season last weekend at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danvile Season Opener and the New Balance Early Bird Invite on Saturday in Boston.

Men's Results from Opening Weekend:
Luke Marsankis led the way breaking the school record for the Indoor 5000m run with a time of 13:45.14.

Kelcie Horst led the way for Maine placing first in the 400 meter dash and ninth in the 60 meter dash.
