Orono, Maine -- The University of Maine women's cross country team placed 11th with 371 points at the Battle in Beantown on Friday afternoon.

Megan Randall was Maine's top finisher, placing 26th out of 159 runners with a time of 17:46.9. Marlee Yoder was second out of the Black Bears, coming in 87th at 18:42.7.

Maine returns to action on Friday, Oct. 13 when it competes at the IC4A/ECAC Championships.
