AMESBURY, Mass. – University of Maine men's ice hockey forward Bradly Nadeau has been named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league.
 
Nadeau scored three goals and added an assist for a four-point weekend in Maine's sweep of Merrimack.
 
On Friday night, Nadeau scored the game-winning goal in the third period of the Black Bears' 2-1 win. Saturday night saw the St-François-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick native score two goals and add an assist on the game-winning goal for his second three-point game of the season.
 
Nadeau finished the weekend tied for second in the conference with 12 shots on goal and was tied first in plus-minus at plus-4.
 
This is the first career weekly honor for Nadeau.
