
LeClaire sets school-record in 3m dive

Orono, Maine -- University of Maine diver Ashley LeClaire set a new school-record in the 3m event to lead the Black Bears on day one of the Harold Anderson Invitational at the University of Rhode Island on Friday.
LeClaire, who won the 3m event, posted a new school record score of 291.45 on the 3m board.
Kennady Kilger posted a runner-up mark in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.94.
Maine's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Kayla Loughman, Hannah Deighan, Mia Poirier, and Kilger placed fifth with a final time of 1:36.51.
Madison Edwards, Isabelle Irani, Loughman, and Kilger took seventh in the 400-yard medley relay at 3:54.22.
After one day of competition, the Black Bears stand third with 170.5 points.
