Orono, Maine -- University of Maine thrower Mackenzie Wilson placed fifth in the hammer throw on day one of the Penn Relays, hosted at Franklin Park in Philadelphia, Pa.

Wilson's throw of 55.51m (182-1) placed her fifth in the event out of 21 throwers.
