Orono, Maine - Mackenzie Wilson sets a new University of Maine record in the women's weight throw in the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener Meet.

Mackenzie Wilson, a senior from Lasalle, Ontario moved to first on Maine's all-time top ten list with a mark of 17.95m, good for first place overall in the meet.

Wilson and the rest of the Black Bears continue their season when they host the UMaine Invitational on Dec. 10.
