Women's Track & Field competes at John Thomas Terrier Classic

Boston, Mass. -- The University of Maine women's track & field team posted three individual top-10 performances at the John Thomas Terrier Classic, hosted by Boston University, on Friday afternoon.
Emma White posted the best finish of the day for the Black Bears as she turned in an eighth place showing in the triple jump at 11.28m. White also added a 19th place finish in the long jump with a leap of 4.94m.
Darcy Cochran finished ninth in the 60m hurdle competition, crossing the line at 9.33. Mackenzie Wilson added a ninth place finish, taking the honors in the weight throw with a toss of 16.91m. Erica Magnuson followed Wilson in the event, finishing 10th at 16.61m.
Yasmen Farag placed 12th in the pole vault as she cleared 3.45m. Ashley Martinez (1.55m) and Katherine Cowan (1.55m) placed 14th and 19th, respectively, in the high jump.
Grace Minkin finished 16th in the triple jump at 10.69m and placed 18th in the long jump with a mark of 4.95m. Oliviah Damboise added a 17th place showing in the triple jump at 10.67m.
Paige Boudreau (11.79m) and Elaina Panagakos (11.60m) finished 18th and 20th, respectively, in the shot put.
