Former UMaine Track & Field Student-Athlete Liam Nee Assisting with Coverage of Olympic Games

Orono, Maine -- University of Maine alumnus, and former track & field student-athlete, Liam Nee is helping broadcast the Tokyo Olympics as a digital editorial producer with NBC Sports. 

Nee has been providing breaking news and feature coverage leading up to and during the Games and Paralympics from Stamford, Connecticut. His coverage includes track and field; track, road, mountain bike and BMX cycling; rowing; sprint and slalom canoe and kayak; sailing; triathlon; modern pentathlon; handball; badminton and indoor volleyball.  

 

The Cornish, Maine native graduated from UMaine in 2014 with a double major in journalism and political science. During his time at the university, he participated in Division I Track, The Maine Campus newspaper and the student-run radio station, WMEB-FM 91.9.
