WAKEFIELD, Massachusetts -- The Hockey East Association announced Wednesday the 2019-20 all-conference teams. University of Maine junior goaltender
Jeremy Swayman was named first team all-star, the lone unanimous selection to the squad, and Stop It Goaltending Goaltender of the Year, while
Mitchell Fossier was named second team all-star.

Swayman finished with a record of 18-11-5 with three shutouts and led the NCAA in saves with a UMaine school-record 1,099 stops, . The junior is second in the country with a 9.39 save percentage and 14th with a 2.07 goals against average. His 2060 minutes with the fifth most for qualifying netminders. He also recorded 25, 30-or-more save games. Swayman is just the fifth Black Bear to earn Top Goaltending honors and the first since Jimmy Howard did so in 2004.

Fossier notched a collegiate career-high 42 points (10-32-42) with a +16 rating. He was second on the team in goals and finished first in assists, points, and rating. The senior had the second most assists and fourth most points in the conference, while finishing third in assists and seventh in points in the country.
