ORONO, Maine -- Fourteen members of the University of Maine women's ice hockey team have been named to the 2017-18 Hockey East All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Thursday, July 12. Each student-athlete achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better in each of the two academic periods during which she was actively competing.
Additionally,
Victoria Hummel was named a Distinguished Scholar after earning a 3.0+ GPA in each semester of her four varsity seasons.

Catherine Tufts all were honored for third time in their careers.
