Adams Selected America East Diver of the Week

The sophomore won the 3-meter dive at the Harold Anderson Invitational
BOSTON – After an impressive weekend at the Harold Anderson Invitational this past weekend, the America East named sophomore Kyle Adams the Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Adams won the 1-meter dive at the annual invitational hosted by URI. Adams dives scored a total of 258.45, besting seven other divers from Bryant, Assumption, Providence, and Maine. The Bangor-native also finished third in the 3-meter dive for a total of 225.35 points.
The award marks Maine's first weekly conference award of the season.
Both the men's and swimming teams will resume action next month, when the Black Bears will compete at the Maine State Meet on the weekend of December 1. The first event is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. at LeRoy Greason Pool on the campus of Bowdoin College.
