America East Names Nick Silva Rookie of the Week

BOSTON, Massachusetts -- The America East Conference names Maine Baseball's Nick Silva Rookie of the week. Silva appeared in four games last week for the Black Bears picking up one win against Rhode Island and recording two saves, both against UMass Lowell.

Silva didn't allow a run in the four games he appeared in, he also held opponents to three hits and struck out a total of five batters.

This marks the third time this season a Black Bear has earned America East rookie of the week (Danny Casals and Colin Ridley previously).
