Men's Outdoor Track and Field Place Third at Wildcat Invitational

DURHAM, N.H. -- Maine Men's Outdoor Track and Field place third at the Wildcat Invitational with a total of 168 points on the day. UNH came in first place with a total of 197 points.
Maine had a total of eight first place finishers on the day, they were the following:
Running Events: Jake Leithiser in the 200 meters (22.50) and in the 400 meters (48.41), Jesse Orach in the 3000 meters (8:37.82), Michael Lucas in the 400 meter hurdles (55.82), Levi Frye in the 3000 meter steeplechase (9:34.19), the 4x400 meter relay team consisting of; Jake Leithiser, Tucker Corbett, Michael Lucas and Tyler Martin (3:21.40).
Field Events: Assad Hicks and Tyler Martin tied in the high jump (2.03m/6-08.00), Julian Hubbard in the long jump (6.41m/21-00.50).
Other notable finishers on the day include:
Running Events: Aaron Willingham placed third in the 1500 meters (4:04.63), Joshua Horne placed second in the 3000 meters (8:49.80) and Justin Tracy placed third in the 3000 meters (8:53.68), Isaac Yeboah placed second in the 400 meter hurdles (56.28) and Elijah Yeboah finished third in the 400 meter hurdles (56.72), Simon Powhida placed second in the 3000 meter steeplechase (9:42.41).
Field Events: Steven Longfellow placed second in the triple jump (12.77m/41-10.75), Jeremy Frantz palced third in the shot put (14.79m/48-06.25), Shane Corbett finished second in the discus (47.06m/154-05).
Maine's next meet is April 20-21 as they travel to Worcester, Mass. for the Holy Cross Multi.
