UMaine Swim & Dive to Host "Nicole's Trick or Trot 5K"

Race to be held in memory of former swimmer Nicole Langlois
Orono, Maine -- On Sunday, Oct. 30 the University of Maine swim & dive team will host "Nicole's Trick or Trot 5K", in memory of former swimmer Nicole Langlois who lost her courageous battle to cancer on Sept. 15, 2016.
The first annual Nicole's Trick or Trot 5K will begin on the UMaine outdoor track at 10 a.m. and loop onto the paved bike path before returning back to the finish line, also stationed on the UMaine track.
All proceeds from the race will be donated to Make-A-Wish Maine in Nicole's memory. The race is Halloween themed and individuals are encouraged to come dressed in costume. Normal race clothing is also acceptable. The race is open to children and adults of all ages.
Awards will be given out to the top runners in each male and female age category. Awards will also be given for best individual costume and group costume. All awards have been generously donated by local businesses.
Special t-shirts will be sold at the race for $10, with all proceeds from sales going directly to Make-A-Wish.
Cost for each participant is $20. Race number presentations and registration will begin at 9 a.m. on race day.
