Women's Swimming and Diving Takes 6 Events at Bowdoin

The University of Maine Women's Swimming and Diving team placed first in 6 events this past Saturday at their meet with Bowdoin.
In the exhibition contest Maine beat out Bowdoin in 6 of 13 events across the afternoon; below are the events that the women's team placed first in:
Women 200 Yard Medley Relay - Megan McGillivary, Emma Blackdeer, Emma Pontious, Julianna McDonald - 1:51.83
Women 200 Yard Freestyle - Shayla-Rose Kleisinger - 1:58.78
Women 50 Yard Freestyle - Emma Pontious - 25.22
Women 100 Yard Freestyle - Abby Parker - 55.92
Women 100 Yard Backstroke - Taylor Sharp - 1:03.38
Women 400 Yard Freestyle Relay - Shayla-Rose Kleisinger, Emma Blackdeer, Julianna McDonald, Tessa Lindsley - 3:45.00
Their next meet is at Providence on January 30th.
