Join Maine Baseball Along With the Bangor Fire Department For Fire Prevention Week!

ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine Baseball team has announced a partnership with the Bangor Fire Department to raise awareness for fire prevention week starting on Oct. 4th through the 10th.
The team will kick off Fire Awareness week on Oct. 4th at the Bangor Fire Department with a Donation box, with proceeds going to the Bangor Fire Department Fire Prevention Bureau. It will take place at 289 Main Street in Bangor. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. you can meet the Maine Baseball team and learn about fire prevention tips.
Later in the week on October 7th, Maine and Husson Baseball will be holding a free youth clinic at 14th Street field across from Mansfield Stadium from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Kids will learn skills from UMaine coaches and players. They can also explore the Bangor Fire Department's fire trucks!
After the clinic, watch Maine Baseball take on Husson at Mansfield Stadium starting at 5:30 p.m. Admission will be $5 and kids who are 12 and under or attend the clinic get in free.
