Women's Hockey Selected Fourth in Hockey East Preseason Poll

Orono, Maine-- The University of Maine Women's Hockey Team was selected fourth in the Hockey East preseason poll.
Boston College was selected first with 64 points and eight first place votes, followed by Boston University with 57 points and one first place vote. Northeastern was third with 50 points, and Maine was fourth with 34 points. Rounding out the poll are Uconn, New Hampshire, Vermont, Providence, and Merrimack.
The Black Bears will face their first hockey east opponet in their first game on October 2nd at New Hampshire. Their first home game will be on October 4th at 1pm against Boston University.
