Men's Cross Country Places Third at UMass

AMHERST, Mass. -- The University of Maine men's cross country team placed third out of six teams in the 6k event at UMass on Saturday afternoon. The Black Bears finished with a score of 86.
UConn won the event with a score of 53 followed by Amherst (59), Maine (86), UMass Amherst (91), Vermont (99) and Boston College (106).
Jesse Orach was the top Maine finisher, placing fourth overall out of 91 runners, with a time of 19:46. Aaron Willingham came in 10th at 19:56 and Levi Frye finished 19th at 20:09.'
The Black Bears return to action on Sept. 18 when they host New Hampshire at 3 p.m.
