Baseball to Host Fall Classic and Prospect Camps

Fall Baseball Classic | September Prospect Camp
ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine baseball team will host a pair of camps this fall. The program will host the Black Bear Fall Classic beginning Sunday, Aug. 23 and running through Sunday, Oct. 4. The September Prospect Camp will be a one day event held on Saturday, Sept. 12.
Fall Baseball Classic
House team spots are available. If you have a 13-15 year old that is interested in playing, he will not be playing with the 16-18 unless otherwise requested. Teams will be formed to best suit transportation. Games will be played on Mahaney Diamond and on Mansfield Stadium. Schedules will be released for both the 13-15 age group and the 16-18 age group by next Wednesday. All participants will receive a Jersey that should be worn each Sunday. The first game will be Sunday 8/23.
September Prospect Camp
UMaine Baseball's annual Elite Prospect Camp is a one day event that allows prospective student-athletes to showcase their skills on Mahaney Diamond to the UMaine Staff.
